Therapy & ADHD Coaching in London and Online

I offer Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, personalised coaching and adult ADHD assessments in London and online. My approach is thoughtful and neuroaffirmative, respecting your individual experiences and strengths.

Whether you want support to make meaningful changes, practical strategies for everyday life, or clarity on whether ADHD might be part of your story, I offer a warm, professional, non-judgemental space to explore your needs and goals. Together, we can build on what is already helping and develop approaches that fit how you think, work and live, at a pace that feels right for you.

A different kind of support

ADHD affects people in different ways. Your strengths, experiences and everyday challenges are individual to you, so the support we develop together should reflect that.

Through coaching, we can explore how ADHD affects your life, recognise what already works for you and develop practical strategies for the areas you find difficult. This might include getting started on tasks, managing time, navigating overwhelm or building confidence.

My approach draws on solution-focused principles to help you identify what you want to change and take manageable steps toward it. We’ll shape our sessions around your priorities, with space to reflect and a pace that feels right for you.

I work with a small number of clients at a time, so I can give you and our work together careful attention.

Who I work with

I work with adults from all walks of life, including:

  • Students navigating academic pressure, identity, or the transition to independence
  • Healthcare practitioners carrying the weight of caring for others
  • Members of the Queer community, exploring identity, relationships, or life transitions in a space that holds no judgements
  • Anyone with ADHD, autism, or who identifies as neurodivergent, whether formally diagnosed or not
  • Anyone who feels that the way life is "set up" doesn't quite work for them

If you’re not sure whether what you’re looking for is counselling, coaching, or something in between, that’s a completely normal place to start. If you want to explore what counselling, psychotherapy, or coaching are, please reach out.

ADHD Assessment

Alongside my therapeutic work, I offer detailed, NICE-compliant ADHD assessments for adults, available online or in-person. Each assessment includes a full diagnostic report.

Where do I work?

I offer coaching online and in person in East London. Sessions run for 50 minutes, and all new clients are welcome to book a free 15-minute initial consultation first, before committing to ongoing work.

ADHD assessments for adults are also available online or in-person. Please see My Services page for full details on services provided.

Every journey is unique, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. If you have questions, want to know more about how I work, or simply want someone to talk you through the next steps, please get in touch.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is counselling for?

Counselling is for anyone who wants a confidential space to talk through present issues or challenges, or previous experiences.

People come to counselling for anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, big life transitions, or simply because they want to understand themselves better.

What’s the difference between counselling, psychotherapy and coaching?

Counselling and psychotherapy are both talking therapies focused on exploring thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Psychotherapy often goes deeper into longer-standing patterns, but in practice the two overlap significantly, and I use both terms to describe similar, integrated work.

Coaching, by contrast, is more forward-focused and practical. It’s about building strategies and tools for specific goals or challenges. Many clients benefit from a blend of both, which is why I offer an integrative approach.

How long do your sessions last?

All of my sessions last 50 minutes.

Where are you located?

My consulting room is based in East London and I see clients both in person and online, so you can choose whichever suits you best.

Do I need a diagnosis to work with you?

No. Whether you’re seeking general counselling, exploring whether ADHD might be relevant to you, or already have a diagnosis, you’re welcome to get in touch. We can talk through what’s right for you during your free 15-minute consultation.

Is your practice LGBTQIA+ inclusive?

Yes. I’m committed to providing a space where LGBTQIA+ clients feel genuinely understood, not just accepted.

Is your practice neuroaffirming?

Yes. My aim is to help you understand and work with your own mind, rather than push you towards a neurotypical standard.

How can I book a session?

Contact me via email to arrange your free 15-minute initial consultation, where we can discuss what you’re looking for and whether we’re a good fit to work together.

How do you assess and diagnose Adult ADHD?

I assess and diagnose ADHD through the use of structured, robust history taking, clinical interviews, evidence-based tools and over 25 years of mental health experience.

My assessments are NICE-compliant and follow national guidelines.

At the end of the interview, if a diagnosis is made, we then discuss the various treatment options.

Can you prescribe medication for ADHD?

No, I’m not a medical doctor, so I cannot prescribe medication. Suppose your assessment indicates that medication may be helpful. In that case, I can refer you to a prescribing clinician I work with, who can advise you and, if appropriate, prescribe medication.

If I am diagnosed with ADHD, does it mean I have to go on medication?

No, medication is just one of several options available to you, and it’s entirely your choice.

If, after your assessment, you’d like to explore whether medication might be helpful, I can refer you to a trusted prescribing clinician who can explain the potential benefits and drawbacks, so you can make an informed decision that feels right for you.

That said, many people with ADHD do not take medication at all. For some, simply having a clear understanding of their ADHD and how it affects them is empowering in itself. Others find they can make significant positive changes through strategies, self-awareness, and the right kind of support, without needing medication. Coaching, in particular, can be a powerful way to manage ADHD. Through coaching, we can work together on practical tools and approaches to help you with focus, organisation, time management, and confidence, all tailored to your personal goals and strengths.

Whether or not you choose medication, I’m here to support you in finding a path forward that works for you.

Will your assessment be recognised by GPs and other health professionals?

Yes. My ADHD assessments are conducted to the same clinical standards used by many NHS and private services, following NICE and AQAS guidelines. Your GP should be able to record any diagnosis in your NHS medical records. However, it is advisable to check with your GP beforehand.

What’s the difference between ADHD assessment and ADHD coaching?

An ADHD assessment is a diagnostic process to determine whether you meet the criteria for an ADHD diagnosis. It involves taking a detailed history, completing structured questionnaires, and exploring how ADHD-related traits affect you. The result is a clear diagnostic report and guidance on next steps.

ADHD coaching, on the other hand, is a collaborative, forward-looking process that helps you develop strategies to manage challenges, build on your strengths, and achieve your goals, whether or not you have a formal diagnosis.

Can I have both assessment and coaching with you?

Yes! Many of my clients choose to start with an assessment and then continue into coaching to put what they’ve learned into practice. You can also decide just to have an assessment, just coaching, or combine both, whatever feels right for you.

How do I know what’s right for me?

If you’re unsure, feel free to contact me and we can discuss it further. I’ll help you figure out whether assessment, coaching, or both best suit your situation and goals. Get in touch

Where are your in-person appointments?
